REBREATHER

TRY CCR

€ 250

The TRY CCR program is an experience with which the diver, during an intense day, receives an overview of the world of closed circuit underwater breathing apparatus, understanding the difference between a mechanical CCR and an electronic one, learning those which are the pre-dive phases of a rebreather, then going into the water to experience what it means to dive with a closed circuit and finally analyzing the post-dive phases.

Minimum age: 18 years old

Prerequisites of the course: Open Water Diver certification and medical certificate for scuba diving

CCR model: AP Diving Inspiration

PSAI REBREATHER DIVER

€ 1000 or € 1300 with CCR rental

The PSAI Rebreather Diver course teaches you to know your Rebreather, to understand how it works, what are its and your limits, what you need to do before diving and what you need to do at the end of the dive.

It is the course suitable for those who have no technical diving experience but have already decided that they want to dive without making bubbles, expanding their safety curve and their dive time.

The diver will then be trained and certified to dive in safety curve with CCR and one bailout tank to a maximum depth of 30 meters.

Minimum age: 18 years old

Prerequisites of the course: Open Water Diver certification, Nitrox Diver certification and medical certificate for scuba diving.

Duration: 4 days

PSAI ADVANCED REBREATHER DIVER

€ 1000 or € 1300 with CCR rental

The PSAI Advanced Rebreather Diver course teaches you to know your Rebreather, to understand how it works, what are its and your limits, what you need to do before diving and what you have to do at the end of the dive.

It is the course suitable for technical divers who have forsee the advantages of the closed circuit compared to the open circuit, who want to expand their no deco limits or reduce their decompression times by taking advantage of the possibility of actively managing the partial pressure of oxygen. The diver will then be trained and certified to dive with decompression with CCR and one or more bailout tanks to a maximum depth of 45 meters.

Minimum age: 18 years old

Prerequisites of the course: Experience of at least 100 open circuit dives, Rebreather Diver certification, Advanced Nitrox Diver certification, Rescue Diver certification, medical certificate for scuba diving.

Duration: 6 days

PSAI FUNDAMENTALS MIXED GAS CLOSED CIRCUIT REBREATHER DIVER

€ 1000 or € 1300 with CCR rental

The PSAI Fundamentals Mixed Gas Closed Circuit Rebreather Diver course teaches you to get to know your Rebreather even better, how it works, what are its and your limits, what you need to do before diving (including oxygen/helium analysis) and what you have to do it at the end of the dive.

It is the course that makes the closed circuit economical compared to the open circuit: in addition to the advantages already found in the Advanced Rebreather Diver course, here the student will appreciate the difference in cost of refilling a 3 liter trimix diluent tank versus those of a double tank of the open circuit.

The diver will then be trained and certified to dive with decompression with CCR and two or more bailout tanks to a maximum depth of 60 meters.

Minimum age: 18 years old

Prerequisites of the course: At least 50 hours of diving experience in CCR and at least 25 hours with the CCR to be used for the course, Advanced Rebreather Diver/RTC Technical Level 1 certification, medical certificate for scuba diving.

Duration: 6 days

PSAI ADVANCED MIXED GAS CLOSED CIRCUIT REBREATHER DIVER

€ 1200 or € 1500 with CCR rental

The PSAI Advanced Mixed Gas Closed Circuit Rebreather Diver course teaches you how to get the best out of your Rebreather, you will refine everything you have seen so far with your rebreather to go in search of your personal limit.

It is the course that further underlines the economic advantages of the closed circuit, which allows the diver to further appreciate the pleasure of breathing a hot gas during the hours spent in decompression, avoiding having to change regulators between the various decompression gases of the open circuit.

The diver will be trained and certified to dive with CCR and two or more bailout tanks to a maximum depth of 100 meters.

Minimum age: 18 years old

Prerequisites of the course: At least 100 hours of diving experience in CCR and at least 50 hours with the CCR to be used for the course, Fundamentals Mixed Gas Closed Circuit Rebreather Diver/RTC Technical Level 2 certification, medical certificate for scuba diving.

Duration: 6 days

CCR model: AP Diving Inspiration

PSAI CCR CAVE DIVER

€ 1000 or € 1300 with CCR rental

The PSAI CCR Cave Diver course teaches you to get the best out of your Rebreather in an overhead environment, i.e. in the absence of the possibility of directly accessing the surface, specifically in a cave environment.

The autonomy of the closed circuit will therefore be optimised, while also observing other diving differences compared to the open circuit, paying particular attention to the management of the bailout tanks.

The diver will then be trained to deal with all the complexities of the cave environment at a maximum depth of 30 meters and will be certified to dive with CCR and the necessary bailouts to the maximum depth for which he has already been certified in open water.

Minimum age: 18 years old

Prerequisites of the course: Experience of at least 50 hours of diving in open water and related CCR certification with the rebreather to be used for the course, Intro to Cave Diver certification, medical certificate for scuba diving.

Duration: 6 days

CCR model: AP Diving Inspiration, JJ-CCR, Voyager M-CCR.
